Rupees for one $50,000 year of fees. USD/INR: 2010 Q1 avg 45.88 (FRED); 2014 avg 61.03; 30 Oct 2025 88.70; 26 Oct 2026 95.19.
Fees abroad are paid in foreign currency. A dollar part grows in dollars, so a weaker rupee hurts less.
Global ETFs hold companies across many countries, so college money doesn't ride on Indian markets alone. This spreads risk; it doesn't promise higher returns.
Studying in India? Nothing lost: your money is simply spread across two currencies.
GRADE 6–7
A small monthly plan in rupees and dollars. Starting now needs about a third of what Grade 10 needs.
EVERY YEAR
It grows with your income, not ahead of it.
GRADE 8–9
The plan moves from a typical cost to your child's stream.
GRADE 10
Board year. Check against real fees; adjust the rupee–dollar split.
GRADE 11
Entrance exams for India, applications for abroad. Money moves to steadier options.
GRADE 12
Admission, first-year fee, and LRS and TCS for abroad. A loan only for any gap. We're with you.
Start in Grade 6, and the Grade 11 choice is about your child, not the cost.

Have someone for your investments? Keep them. Use ParentArc for your child's college.
No. Start with a typical cost; the plan narrows as interests show. Most families decide in Grade 11.
The rupee part covers it. The dollar part is still yours: use it, keep it or move it.
You can still plan. The monthly amount is higher, and we'll check if a small education loan fills the gap.
Not in the target. From Grade 10 the plan shows scholarships that fit your child as a bonus, so it never depends on winning one.
No. Fund units and ETFs are held in your own name.

Costs are illustrations from published fees and typical living costs at late Oct 2026 rates. "Estimated" means we haven't read the college's own fee page yet. Future costs assume fees rising 6% a year in India, 5% at global campuses, and 3% abroad plus the rupee falling 3.5% a year, unless you changed these in your plan.

Rupee amounts use the exchange rates of late Oct 2026. Fees change every year; always confirm on the college's own website. Information only, not investment advice.
